A radical yet heartfelt guide to recognizing and caring for marginalized identities from an expert spiritual healer.

In Healing the Liminal, Marcella Kroll—a multiracial, autistic intuitive, artist, and spiritual healer—offers a transformative guide for those navigating the world without a clear path, rooted in her own experiences with marginalization and self-discovery. Through a blend of parables and powerful channeled stories, Marcella honors her ancestors, guides, and past incarnations, uncovering forgotten legacies and teaching us how to reclaim and revere them.

Healing the Liminal offers exercises and introspections that encourage readers to connect with their ancestral lineages—whether earthly or cosmic; to explore the “unknown”; to be curious; and to sit with discomfort, as these are often pathways to inner strength and spiritual growth. Her goal is to guide readers in creating a narrative of belonging, helping them rewrite feelings of unworthiness, overcome imposter syndrome, and take up space authentically—even in the face of societal exclusion.

This book’s structure of nonlinear reflections and open-ended exercises allows for a deeply personal journey, one that acknowledges healing is messy, nonlinear, and sometimes incomplete. Marcella’s approach respects the gaps in knowledge and offers readers an inclusive, forgiving space to connect with lost traditions, suppressed histories, and the “messy” aspects of healing and identity.

For creatives, healers, and anyone who feels they live between worlds, this debut is both a celebration of unconventional existence and a roadmap for exploring multidimensional identities. With her distinctive voice and illustrations, Marcella’s book becomes a testament to resilience and a bridge to forgotten histories—no matter how distant or otherworldly they may seem.
